Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and disassembly of compressor components on MTS and Shaker fatigue testing benches
• Conduct fatigue testing and accurately record and electronically archive all test data
• Install strain gauges and sensors for compressor testing experiments, including calibration
• Record and provide required data in the specific formats requested by project requirements
• Communicate project status and progress timely to Applied Mechanics Engineers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
• Proactively learn to master the use of all equipment within the applied mechanics laboratory

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Materials, or Mechatronics engineering
• Proficiency with manual, pneumatic, and electric tools
• Knowledge of electronic and electrical testing equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer use
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
