About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly and disassembly of compressor components on MTS and Shaker fatigue testing benches
- Conduct fatigue testing and accurately record and electronically archive all test data
- Install strain gauges and sensors for compressor testing experiments, including calibration
- Record and provide required data in the specific formats requested by project requirements
- Communicate project status and progress timely to Applied Mechanics Engineers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
- Proactively learn to master the use of all equipment within the applied mechanics laboratory
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Materials, or Mechatronics engineering
- Proficiency with manual, pneumatic, and electric tools
- Knowledge of electronic and electrical testing equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer use
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
