CASA DA CALÇADA – Relais & Châteaux, located in Amarante, Portugal, is a member of Relais & Châteaux. Set in a historic 17th-century palace classified as a National Monument, it offers a unique experience of sophisticated hospitality with 35 rooms and suites, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and lush gardens.
Responsibilities
This internship aims to provide practical and formative experience in different areas of hotel operations, allowing the intern to develop technical, behavioral, and customer service skills in a dynamic environment. Depending on the profile and hotel needs, interns may be integrated into one or more of the following areas:
- Reception / Front Office
- Housekeeping
- Food & Beverage / Restaurant and Bar
- Reservations
- Events and Banquets
- Operations / Back Office
- Commercial / Marketing
Requirements
- Education in Hospitality, Tourism, Catering, Hotel Management, or a similar field
- Interest in developing a career in the hospitality industry
- Good presentation and customer orientation
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Sense of responsibility, organization, and proactivity
- Schedule flexibility and availability to learn in a real-world context
- Proficiency in Portuguese and preferably English
