Internship and Thesis: Optimized Manufacturing Processes in Electronics Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature research to establish relevant scientific and technical foundations for selective soldering.
• Define key influencing factors and variables for the selective soldering process.
• Plan and execute a Design of Experiments (DoE) to systematically investigate the interplay between design and process parameters.
• Analyze, document, and provide structured summaries of experimental results to optimize manufacturing stability and reduce material costs.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
• Proficiency in MS Office and standard digital applications.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
• High level of enthusiasm and a team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior knowledge of metallic materials and process technology.
• Experience with experimental design or manufacturing process optimization.
