About the role

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and update trip planning tasks to ensure accurate and timely support for each trip
  • Communicate with airports, ground handlers, and local authorities to arrange required services
  • Coordinate domestic and international customs processes, including APIS setup
  • Track active flights and provide real-time updates to handling teams and customers
  • Create, verify, and transmit complex flight plans, weather briefings, and contingency itineraries
  • Acquire and interpret aeronautical publications and NOTAMs for flight crew compliance
  • Maintain customer operational files, including overflight/landing permits and diplomatic clearances
  • Advise customers on route planning based on airport restrictions, fuel availability, and regional considerations
  • Ensure all flight planning adheres to FAA, EASA, and other applicable international regulations

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in international trip operations or flight planning
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (verbal and written)
  • Strong computer skills and comfort with operational databases
  • Ability to work non-standard hours and across multiple time zones
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude and ability to maintain composure in time-sensitive situations

Preferred Qualifications

  • FAA Dispatcher certificate or equivalent
  • Prior experience in flight operations, dispatch, or trip planning
  • Knowledge of APIS, customs, and immigration processes across multiple regions
  • Experience with international regulatory compliance (FAA, CAAC, EASA, ICAO)
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and knowledge of aircraft performance
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree
