International Trade Associate

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on international trade issues including CFIUS reviews, customs, sanctions, export controls, and trade remedies
• Support international trade-related transactional and regulatory work
• Represent clients before government agencies and in administrative proceedings
• Provide guidance on compliance with U.S. trade regulations and free trade agreements
• Draft and negotiate high-quality legal documents and submissions
• Manage multiple matters simultaneously and collaborate with colleagues across practice groups

Requirements

• Experience in international trade
• Experience with CFIUS, customs compliance, or trade remedies
• Strong drafting, analytical, and legal research skills
• Admission to the D.C. Bar or eligibility to obtain admission through waiver
• Willingness to travel internationally as required
