International Software Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform manual localisation testing on software, print documents, help, and hardware items.
• Report issues using internal tools, providing pertinent information and following the solution process to completion.
• Analyse international functionality issues and identify areas for improvement in existing tools and processes.
• Work cross-functionally with international QA centers, engineering teams, translators, and project managers.
• Design, implement, and organise manual test plans.
• Create, maintain, and carry out automated test procedures using technologies like Swift, ObjC, Python, or Ruby.

Requirements

• Fluent in French Canadian and English with full professional competence and linguistic proficiency.
• Ability to represent a French Canadian user in all aspects of software interaction.
• Knowledge of software localization and internationalization.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Localisation Quality Assurance.
• Hardware and software power user of Apple products (macOS/iOS).
• Real-world software engineering experience.
• Experience with software test automation or macOS/iOS development using Xcode or Swift.
• Project management experience.
