International Shipping Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Guide and support all local aspects of International Trade Compliance for plant raw materials and finished goods delivery
• Manage day-to-day international shipping activities to ensure safe, reliable, and on-time performance in alignment with regulations
• Create essential clearance documents including import releases, ISF, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin
• Coordinate with 3rd party service providers, including forwarding agents, customs brokers, and carriers
• Maintain accurate record-keeping of all import and export transactions to uphold compliance for government audits
• Collaborate with global Air Liquide Affiliates and freight forwarders regarding international shipments
• Perform secondary transportation functions in alignment with US DOT federal and state regulations
• Uphold all Safety and Quality regulations and contribute to the yearly GHG report

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of relevant experience in shipping or logistics
• Proficiency in the English language
• Experience with Google Office Suite and Oracle
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Basic arithmetic skills and mechanical aptitude

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience shipping Hazmat (IATA, IMDG, and DOT)
• Experience within the industrial gas industry
