International Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer costs and profit margins for all imported products
• Oversee the recovery process for damaged import items within local inventory
• Perform periodic purchasing analyses on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis
• Coordinate functions and activities with the Sourcing Agent in China
• Negotiate with suppliers regarding terms, discounts, benefits, returns, and various conditions
• Conduct studies on trends, statistics, fashion, and consumption patterns for acquired goods
• Physically review specifications, quality, and quantity of import shipments received in the warehouse
• Develop new products and manage FOB processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Licenciatura)
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SAP
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Fluency in English
• Extensive knowledge of both national and international purchasing processes
• Proven experience in staff management, training, and personnel development
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Availability to travel as required
