International Programs Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and follow-up for high school students' intercultural experiences, from application to administrative and academic closure.
• Meticulously review academic, administrative, and migratory documentation, including passports, visas, and insurance.
• Manage administrative processes such as grade modifications and institutional system validations.
• Maintain constant communication with campus Intercultural Leaders to align information and ensure correct program dissemination.
• Coordinate and participate in information sessions and preparation workshops for students and families.
• Support the National Intercultural Leader in the selection and interview process for international trip chaperones.
• Ensure trips follow annual plans and safety protocols, making timely decisions to protect student well-being.
• Develop and update the intercultural calendar and student journeys for the High School level.
• Apply student and family satisfaction measurement tools to drive continuous program improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to students during international experiences, modeling respectful intercultural attitudes.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's degree (preferably in International Relations, Tourism, Psychology, or Education).
• 2 years of experience in student, family, or provider service.
• 2 years of experience in travel or event coordination.
• 2 years of teaching experience.
• Strong effective communication and empathy skills.
• Cultural sensitivity and emotional management.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure.
