International Payroll Manager

Responsibilities

• Strategically design and manage the international payroll setup and processes
• Take operational responsibility for monthly payroll execution across multiple international locations
• Collaborate with external international payroll service providers and tax consultants
• Drive optimization, digitalization, and standardization initiatives within international payroll processes
• Provide advisory services on international tax, social security, and labor law topics, including support for global mobility and international assignments
• Ensure compliance with legal and internal guidelines and participate in internal/external audits, including SOX compliance
• Manage payroll-related projects by defining goals, timelines, and tasks, and ensuring successful execution

Requirements

• Degree in Tax, Economics, or a comparable qualification
• 3+ years of extensive experience in international payroll (e.g., UK, USA, France, China, Australia, etc.)
• Deep knowledge of international tax, labor, and social security laws
• Proficiency in HR and payroll systems, specifically SAP and/or SuccessFactors
• Fluency in both German and English is mandatory
