International Operations Agent

Responsibilities

• Coordinate directly with clients, customs, and agents to ensure efficient global cargo movement
• Prepare all necessary documentation for export, import, and customs clearance processes
• Track and trace cargo to ensure proper movement and timely delivery
• Communicate with clients regarding freight disposition, including tracking, routing, dispatching, and rate quotations
• Provide the accounting department with accurate billing information
• Collaborate with other company branches and agents to ensure excellent service execution
• Identify the most profitable shipment modes that meet client requirements

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience
• Strong working knowledge of import and export rules, regulations, and documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of specific industry experience
