International Controller

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly close process for international subsidiaries
• Oversee and manage local accountants across multiple international offices
• Ensure local GAAP and statutory compliance with various local authorities
• Manage external audits across international offices
• Provide monthly financial reporting to the CFO and other key stakeholders
• Oversee internal financial and operating controls, processes, and practices
• Monitor and enforce shared service agreements and intercompany recharges
• Conduct cost center accounting, cost unit accounting, and contribution margin calculations
• Manage cash responsibilities with a focus on disbursement payments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• Professional certification such as CPA or Chartered Accountant
• 5-10 years of experience in a similar management role, preferably with international experience
• Thorough knowledge of audit procedures, including planning, testing, and sampling
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with financial systems; proficiency in SAP B1 is preferred
• Strong communication skills to convey financial information to department heads
