About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute tactical and strategic consultative sales account plans for existing and new Partnerships to achieve revenue targets.
- Serve as the primary account owner for assigned strategic partnerships, driving revenue generation and development.
- Achieve assigned quotas for new revenue growth within assigned Partner accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple contacts at each account, using matrix selling to connect decision-makers and C-level executives.
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of Partner opportunities using the company CRM and forecasting methodology.
- Identify new opportunities to up-sell additional Bandwidth products to companies leveraging our services.
- Present and demonstrate combined Partner and Bandwidth solution offerings to prospective client senior executives.
- Maintain accurate sales records, expense plans, budgets, and support RFP/RFI requests.
- Work cross-functionally with internal groups to leverage resources for assigned accounts.
- Travel as necessary to maintain a presence with partners, attend trade shows, and user group events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4+ years in Sales with an understanding of the Channel ecosystem (ISV, OEM, BP Partnerships) in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Proven track record of sales accomplishments and/or achieving above-quota targets.
- Deep working knowledge of the Telecom Industry Go-to-Market via Channel and Alliance Partners.
- Strong presentation skills with the capability to interact with senior management (CEO, CFO, CTO/CIO, etc.).
- Strong tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to execute in a rapidly changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of specific Channel and sales motions within the ecosystem, including GSIs, SIs, and MSPs.
- Demonstrated history of in-depth knowledge in sales, account, and relationship management techniques.
