International Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform reconciliation of general ledger accounts using system automation and standardization tools.
• Create journal entries including accruals, prepayments, bank entries, and other general entries.
• Upload journals electronically into the Oracle SaaS Finance ERP system.
• Prepare various schedules for financial statements and tax reporting using ERP data.
• Maintain and improve Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Provide accounting services to financial controllers across multiple international jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant, part-qualified (close to completion), or a degree in Finance or Commerce.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance role with high-quality outcomes.
• Excellent understanding of double-entry accounting and core accounting concepts.
• Experience working with multiple legal entities and multiple currencies.
• High level of proficiency in MS Excel and the MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle SaaS Financials or other major Accounting ERP software.
• Experience with Oracle SaaS ARCS online reconciliation tools.
• Knowledge of process engineering and data analytics.
