Internal Sales/Warehouse/Van Driver

Responsibilities

• Take and process sales orders from customers and handle cash or card payments
• Deliver goods to customers efficiently and safely
• Process, record, and organize warehouse stock and merchandise
• Maintain the branch price file, office catalogue library, and product literature
• Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the office, stores, and trade counter
• Perform accurate and timely stock counts
• Answer telephone inquiries regarding product availability, operation, or descriptions
• Resolve customer complaints and advise on merchandise selection

Requirements

• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Valid forklift licence (training can be provided)
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
• Working knowledge of the health and safety requirements of the HASAW Act
• Knowledge of engineering and welding processes or ISO9002 is a plus but not essential
