Internal Sales Parts Representative

Responsibilities

• Propose and suggest new parts, products, and promotions to customers based on product line strategies
• Execute first-level sales, including complementary parts and volume-based pricing
• Perform up-selling and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities
• Collect market and competitor intelligence from customer interactions
• Negotiate special pricing arrangements within established organizational parameters
• Identify and propose technical alternatives to mitigate customer impact during long delivery delays
• Process customer and sales representative requests, including orders, credit notes, and parts returns
• Coordinate parts lists from purchase orders with logistics planners
• Support the management and velocity of consignment parts inventory

Requirements

• DEC or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
• 3 years of experience in mechanics or parts sales
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably within transport products
• Bilingualism in English and French (superior written and spoken levels)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Knowledge of MRP systems (such as SAP or JD Edwards) is an asset
• Strong negotiation, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work autonomously and perform under pressure
