Internal Fraud Analytics Assistant Vice President

Responsibilities

• Lead the Internal Fraud Analytics capability by identifying and mitigating risks associated with employee fraud and financial crime.
• Perform investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, and controls.
• Design and build automated data pipelines to streamline data movement and processing.
• Apply advanced analytical techniques and machine learning/AI to large datasets to uncover trends and correlations.
• Translate complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations and operational improvements.
• Design interactive dashboards and automated visual reports for regular and ad-hoc stakeholder needs.
• Advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and manage risk and controls.
• Lead collaborative assignments and guide team members through complex, cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fraud analytics, internal fraud, financial crime analytics, or investigations within banking or financial services.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience analyzing large and complex datasets.
• Proficiency with Python and SAS.
• Strong ability to communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience producing high-level reporting and presenting findings to senior management.
• Excellent problem-solving, investigative, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively under strict deadlines.
