Internal Design Engineer - Transformers

Responsibilities

• Perform internal design of oil-type power transformers, including cleats, leads, core, active parts, and windings.
• Ensure designs adhere to factory limitations, guidelines, and checklists.
• Coordinate design activities across a worldwide network of factories.
• Participate in internal design concept reviews.
• Collaborate with technical teams globally to ensure project success.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements

• B.E / B. Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 to 12 years of experience in the internal design of oil-filled power transformers.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling using Creo.
• Strong knowledge of transformer manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience specifically within the transformer industry.
• Experience in simulation or software development.
• Specialized experience in core, active part, winding, cleats, and leads design.
• Demonstrated team building and networking skills.
