Internal Controls Manager

Responsibilities

• Create, implement, monitor and update project plans for IT Compliance initiatives
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to demonstrate compliance
• Monitor and track regulatory changes to ensure organizational compliance
• Create reporting dashboards for leadership on compliance activities and risk status
• Contribute to policy, procedure, and guidance development
• Develop and maintain incident response plans for security breaches
• Deliver training programs on governance, risk, and compliance matters

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Public Administration, Accounting, or related field
• 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• 2+ years of project management, security, or IT audit experience at enterprise scale
• Experience with Governance Risk and Compliance or Integrated Risk Management tools
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls and IRS Publication 1075 preferred
• Strong understanding of IT controls and enterprise IT environments

Preferred Qualifications

• CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar certifications
