Internal Control Lead

Responsibilities

• Implement the Internal Control Group Framework by evaluating control design and updating documentation in the GRC tool.
• Conduct regular testing of controls through document collection, sampling, and evidence investigation.
• Develop and amend company policies and procedures to ensure alignment with Group directives.
• Support Business Process Owners (BPO) in creating process efficiencies and mitigating risks through flowcharts and narratives.
• Manage Segregation of Duties (SoD) by testing user access rights and coordinating system transaction roles.
• Coordinate with Group and External Audit teams, tracking findings and ensuring timely gap closure.
• Participate in the strategic risk management process and maintain the country's risk profile.
• Adhere to and enforce all relevant Health & Safety legislation and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance.
• 5 years of experience in an audit firm or a similar internal control role, preferably within a multinational company.
• Strong knowledge of internal control concepts, accounting principles, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Excellent oral, aural, and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to analyze business processes and recommend risk mitigation solutions.
