Internal Auditor

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct internal audits following professional standards
• Take responsibility for various audit projects, identify and assess risks, establish audit strategy, and evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls
• Support internal clients in identifying the best solutions to mitigate risks and produce audit reports
• Plan and conduct follow-up reviews of measures implemented by management to reduce risks and risk exposure
• Perform special projects, advise, and support management regarding risk reduction and internal control practices
• Participate in the implementation of projects related to financial compliance (SOX Act and Regulation 52-109)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting sciences or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• CPA or CIA designation (or in progress) is an asset
• Experience in telecommunications, media, or engineering operations is an asset
• Good knowledge of the COSO framework and operational, IT, and financial audit techniques
• Strong understanding of business risks and excellent analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
• Autonomous, results-oriented, and focused on service quality
