Internal Auditor

Responsibilities

• Execute audits in accordance with the annual plan established and authorized by the General Management and Audit Committee
• Prepare executive Internal Audit reports
• Follow up on the implementation of action plans from audit reports to ensure timely remediation of findings
• Ensure compliance with internal audit standards during planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up phases
• Conduct reviews derived from the "Resguarda" line and direct reports/whistleblowing

Requirements

• Professional degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in similar roles
• Intermediate conversational English skills
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of the COSO framework
• Accounting and/or financial knowledge
• Flowcharting and process diagramming skills
• Knowledge of risks, controls, and audit methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in construction work supervision reporting
• Experience reviewing unit price cards
• Experience in contract, bond, and tender control for materials, labor, and equipment
• Experience supervising preventive and corrective maintenance
