Internal Audit Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop the multi-year audit plan in collaboration with the Head of Internal Audit, Security & Operational Safety
• Prepare and independently execute operational audits with clear documentation and reporting
• Formulate sharp recommendations and discuss improvement opportunities with stakeholders and management
• Develop and manage procedures and work instructions to support process optimization
• Monitor progress and identify bottlenecks to stimulate continuous improvement
• Participate in projects related to risk management and process improvement
• Analyze data from various systems to support security investigations and develop targeted controls

Requirements

• HBO working and thinking level
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Operational Audit, process optimization, or continuous improvement
• Experience executing audits and translating insights into concrete actions
• Strong analytical skills with experience in KPIs, management information, and process analysis
• Experience with project-based working
• Excellent command of Dutch and English (Dutch required)
• Ability to communicate persuasively and manage stakeholders through change
