About the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan, perform, and document testing for SOX 404 implementation post-IPO
  • Identify control gaps and process inefficiencies and develop remediation plans
  • Track remediation efforts and validate implementation of action plans
  • Develop and maintain control documentation within Workiva, including narratives and flowcharts
  • Coordinate with external auditors and co-source internal audit teams
  • Assist process owners with control environment design and enhancement
  • Contribute to enterprise risk assessments and the annual internal audit plan
  • Identify opportunities to leverage data analytics and automation in audit procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • At least 6 years of accounting or audit experience
  • At least 4 years of Big 4 or National accounting firm experience
  • Demonstrated experience with SOX 404 testing and remediation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of audit processes including access management and change control
  • Working knowledge of G-Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Accounting
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CIA
  • Experience with a newly publicly traded company implementing SOX framework
  • Familiarity with IT processes including user access/SOD and change management
  • Experience using Workiva or similar audit management platforms
