Internal Audit - Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform data analytics to evaluate risk management and control effectiveness across various audit assignments.
• Collaborate with the global Internal Audit team to determine specific analysis requirements.
• Develop data analytics solutions, including ad-hoc analytics, management information, and continuous monitoring solutions.
• Create data visualizations to support audit activities and strategic initiatives.
• Provide guidance to audit teams on analysis approaches and the interpretation of data deliverables.
• Prepare detailed data analytics working papers to support formal audit documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a numerate field.
• Proven experience developing data analytics solutions for audit use cases, ideally within financial services or the insurance industry.
• Proficiency in Alteryx Designer for developing data analysis workflows.
• Experience with data visualization software, specifically Microsoft Power BI (Desktop and Cloud Service).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or PySpark.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Relevant data analytics certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, to enhance productivity.
• Audit-related professional qualifications.
