Internal Audit, Risk Consulting - Financial Services - Senior Consultant or Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver internal audit and risk engagements from planning through to reporting across compliance, operational, financial, technology, and strategic risk areas
• Work directly with clients to understand business operations, identify risks, and assess the effectiveness of key controls
• Provide practical recommendations to help clients strengthen processes, improve outcomes, and manage regulatory requirements
• Coach and support junior team members to help them develop their professional skills and confidence
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging risks, regulatory developments, and new technologies to provide fresh insights to clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent qualification)
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CBCP, or CIPP (or a desire to work towards them)
• Experience in Financial Services or other highly regulated environments
• Proven experience delivering projects or engagements from start to finish
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of risk management, governance, compliance, and control frameworks
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing
