Internal Audit Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide input and support the development of the three-year strategic internal audit plan to ensure coverage of key risks.
• Plan and deliver the annual work program for Marex in collaboration with the Head of Audit.
• Influence senior management to increase the effectiveness of risk mitigation and improve the control environment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC, and other applicable exchanges.
• Supervise and lead internal audit activities to ensure high-quality assurance output.
• Research and implement electronic work paper and risk assessment tools for the internal audit function.

Requirements

• 7 to 10 years of experience as an audit practitioner within a complex financial services organization.
• Significant experience conducting risk assessments and audits of complex financial systems.
• Proficiency in auditing general IT controls and conducting integrated reviews.
• Strong knowledge of SEC, FINRA, NFA, and CFTC regulations.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or part CPA designation.
• Series 3 or Swaps Proficiency certification.
• Experience or familiarity with futures businesses.
• Exposure to broking, commodities, securities, and swap dealers.
