Internal Audit Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and manage end-to-end audit engagements from planning through to final report issuance.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
• Provide practical recommendations to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency.
• Supervise and coach Internal Audit Executives and Senior Executives to ensure audit quality and consistency.
• Engage with senior management and regional stakeholders to discuss audit findings and facilitate corrective action plans.
• Present key audit findings and risk exposures to senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Oversee the follow-up process to ensure audit findings are properly addressed and remediated.
• Lead or support special reviews, fraud investigations, and ad hoc assignments as required.
• Enhance internal audit methodologies, tools, and the use of data analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of internal/external audit experience for Assistant Manager level, or 7-10 years for Manager level.
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks (COSO), enterprise risk management, and corporate governance.
• Proven leadership experience in managing audit teams and high-level stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal); Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Willingness to travel overseas for regional audit assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion or pursuit of professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CIA, or CISA.
