Internal Audit Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead internal audit and risk engagements to provide proactive assessments and assurance regarding control effectiveness and company processes
• Identify business risks and control weaknesses within business processes under review
• Manage engagement tasks and timelines for self and team members to ensure delivery within budget
• Research client industry, company structure, and operations to provide deep insights
• Review work performed by team members and draft documents or presentations to explain issues and solution options
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
• Coach and mentor junior team members, providing honest and supportive feedback
• Identify and escalate potential risks to partners along with suggested mitigating actions

Requirements

• Honours degree in Internal Audit, Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field
• CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or equivalent certification
• Minimum of 7 years of related work experience
• 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory, coaching, or managing capacity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize commitments across multiple client engagements
• Proven track record of maintaining high integrity and professional work ethics
• Experience in drafting audit proposals and presenting reports to clients
