Internal Audit Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee, and deliver end-to-end audit assignments in accordance with Internal Audit methodology.
• Identify key risks, control weaknesses, and emerging issues, providing practical and actionable recommendations.
• Draft clear and concise audit reports demonstrating a strong understanding of subject matter and risks.
• Coordinate and collaborate with first- and second-line functions, including compliance, risk management, and underwriting/claims QA.
• Monitor the timely and effective remediation of audit issues and escalate delays as appropriate.
• Supervise and coach team members to support their development in audit skills and insurance knowledge.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with auditees and key stakeholders across the EMEA region.
• Actively participate in AI and data-related initiatives to improve audit processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, CIMA, or CPA.
• Proven internal audit experience within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of risk-based audit methodologies, internal controls, and IIA standards.
• Demonstrable knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as Solvency II, Lloyd's, or PRA/FCA.
• Experience using data analytics and AI tools in an audit capacity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior management.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
