Internal Audit Associate

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing internal audit assignments and reviews as per the audit plan
• Support data extraction, sampling, and preparation of workpapers for testing key controls
• Review process documentation, SOPs, and policy compliance across various departments
• Identify process gaps, control lapses, and potential fraud indicators
• Participate in walkthroughs and discussions with process owners
• Coordinate with consultants for audit execution, information sharing, and status tracking
• Prepare draft observations, audit findings, and presentation materials for review
• Track and follow up on audit recommendations and closure status
• Conduct Management Testing of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR)
• Support automation initiatives and the use of analytics tools for testing controls

Requirements

• B.Com, M.Com, CMA/CA Inter, or MBA in Finance
• 1-3 years of experience in internal audits, process reviews, or risk management
• Proficiency in MS Excel is required
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
• Excellent documentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of SQL for data analysis
