Internal Audit Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and ad-hoc internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, processes, and company policies.
• Identify organizational risk areas and propose actionable mitigation plans.
• Prepare and present detailed audit reports to management, highlighting issues and providing improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with various departments to understand their specific processes and operational challenges.
• Provide training and guidance to employees regarding best practices in internal control and compliance.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in internal auditing and financial regulations.
• Participate in special audit projects as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal or external audit.
• Solid knowledge of internal audit principles, financial regulations, and internal control standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information with integrity.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to different company locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Internal Audit or Accounting.
• Professional certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant).
• Experience using audit software such as ACL or IDEA.
