Internal AI Operations Lead

Responsibilities

• Define and own the central roadmap for the Internal AI Team
• Run the AI Champion & Leader network across all departments
• Build Zip’s AI skills framework and standards for agent authoring
• Co-own Internal AI team tooling including Enterprise AI Assistants and n8n
• Own training and enablement strategy, including upskilling courses and hackathons
• Prototype solutions and build working versions to unblock teams

Requirements

• 7+ years leading cross-functional change or transformation programs at a high-growth software company
• Hands-on experience building AI skills, agents, and workflows
• Technical proficiency in reading API docs, understanding MCP, and reasoning about data flows
• Ability to build proof-of-concept prototypes quickly
• Strong strategic influence and ability to partner with VP-level leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience running hackathons, offsites, or large-scale enablement programs from scratch
• Deep familiarity with AI tools like Claude and prototyping environments
