About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform production work including welding and basic assembly for standard vessels, heat exchangers, and compressor packages
- Assemble and weld sub-assembly parts, supports, legs, angles, and water boxes
- Install components, heads, and system piping according to required specifications
- Operate within a Lean Six Sigma environment to meet production budgets and quality standards
- Assist in training less experienced employees as needed
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Welding program
- Basic math and blueprint reading skills
- Basic fabrication skills and comprehension of safety rules
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Physical ability to sit, stand, reach, and walk for extended periods on concrete surfaces
- Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate tools and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
