Intern Research Scientist

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and validation of optical analytical tools
• Gather and analyze data, perform cell studies using optical modalities, and report findings
• Design and execute experiments systematically under guidance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support R&D efforts and integrate new methodologies into existing workflows

Requirements

• Completed Master's program or currently enrolled in a PhD program in Bioengineering, Biology, Chemistry, or a closely related discipline
• Hands-on experience with operating light microscopes
• Proficiency in Python, R, or Matlab for spectral analysis and data processing (Python strongly preferred)
• Experience in systematic experimentation and troubleshooting in a laboratory setting
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in team environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with advanced optical imaging techniques such as 3D confocal fluorescence, Raman microspectroscopy, or fluorescence light sheet
