Intern Radio Middleware Validation Engineering

Responsibilities

• Review test case specifications and implement additional test cases to improve system coverage
• Use and extend the existing proprietary Java-based test framework
• Extend the test bench framework to control new signal generators
• Execute test plans, evaluate results, and report deviations to the team
• Validate new product modifications and contribute to product documentation

Requirements

• Profound programming skills in Java
• Good knowledge of Git as a source control management system
• Experience with Bitbucket pull request workflows and Jira issue management
• Ability to read and understand mobile communication standards (e.g., DAB, HD Radio)
• Understanding of test frameworks, including trace tools, measurement equipment, and test methodology
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in German
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python
• Experience in the radio domain (AM/FM/DAB/HD Radio)
• Experience with Maven, Eclipse, or IntelliJ IDE
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Couchbase
