Intern - Microbiology

Responsibilities

• Support data collection, analysis, and documentation for microbiology lab projects and continuous improvement
• Assist microbiologists with media preparation for routine use and inventory control management
• Support microbial identification libraries and perform gap analysis on raw material microbial testing
• Conduct daily and monthly performance checks on laboratory equipment such as balances and pH meters
• Assist with water monitoring and environmental monitoring activities
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Section Lead or QC Manager

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or Biotechnology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and data handling
• Basic understanding of aseptic techniques in a microbiology laboratory setting
• Fundamental knowledge of microbiological methods, including inoculation, streak plate, and pour plate techniques
• Strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Availability for a 6-month internship period from July 2026 to December 2026
