Intern in the Center for Student Success

Responsibilities

• Support student success, academic advising, and retention projects within the Center for Student Success
• Develop materials and assist in planning the Pacer Success Series (PSS)
• Create engagement reporting forms to support Peer Mentors
• Develop resources and workshop materials related to Sophomore Year Success and academic support
• Assist with career development classes (PDS 300 and PDS 490) and internship program execution
• Assist with First Destination data collection and survey responses
• Create marketing materials including social media content, posters, flyers, and apparel
• Analyze and synthesize data from various departments to present findings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Current enrollment in a graduate program relevant to the work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in Google Drive
• Ability to be present on campus at least 3 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Past work experience related to student success initiatives
• Knowledge of student development theory
• Statistical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in database use and desktop publishing
• Experience with social media platforms and Canva
• Knowledge of student success technologies such as Kahoot or Polls Everywhere
