About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform professional administrative work on special projects as assigned
  • Participate in research and studies related to programs and their financial support
  • Prepare reports and recommendations regarding assigned areas of responsibility
  • Conduct surveys and perform administrative research, statistical, or financial analysis
  • Compile data and create spreadsheets, reports, manuals, and publications
  • Support budget preparation, budget control, and account reconciliation
  • Assist with SAP data entry and reporting

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited college or university with coursework in Finance, Accounting, Business, Public Administration, or a closely related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (approximately 20 to 25 hours per week)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior professional work experience in general financial accounting
  • Working knowledge of research methods, statistical analysis, and report preparation
