About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in documenting noncompliance issues, maintenance deficiencies, and unsafe conditions.
- Support record keeping and documentation for Agency equipment, fleet vehicles, security, and building maintenance.
- Collect and analyze data to prepare reports, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets.
- Assist Facilities staff with the observation of Agency buildings, equipment, and landscapes.
- Support the purchase requisition process, including generating purchase orders and processing invoices via SAP.
- Assist in the development of Scopes of Work, Requests for Bids (RFB), and Requests for Proposals (RFP).
- Perform administrative and technical tasks related to special projects and landscape monitoring.
- Travel to various offsite locations within the IEUA service area as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited college/university with coursework in Business, Public Administration, Operations, Facilities, Project Management, Fleet, Landscape, or Natural Resources management.
- Valid California Class C driver's license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior related work experience in facilities, operations, or landscape management.
