Intern, Drug Substance Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Attend daily manufacturing tie 1 meetings and communicate current operation status
• Generate, review, and approve SOPs, batch records, and protocols for downstream manufacturing
• Support quality investigations, continuous improvement efforts, and engineering activities
• Ensure maintenance, upkeep, and organization of the downstream manufacturing facility
• Adhere to current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and safety procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of equipment operation and process data

Requirements

• Currently participating in a relevant biotechnology or STEM degree program, or recently completed a biotechnology training program
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) from July 2026 to December 18, 2026
• Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong mathematical skills including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in a controlled environment requiring GxP gowning and protective clothing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or other regulated industries
• Experience with viral vectors
