Intern - Digital Commons Foundation

Responsibilities

• Contribute to project planning and maintain governance routines to track progress
• Independently own multiple small deliverables and track project timelines
• Produce clear, engaging copy for internal communications and project updates
• Maintain and update the Water Data Exchange (WDE) knowledge base
• Create and format professional slide decks and high-impact visuals using tools like Canva or PowerPoint
• Coordinate end-to-end logistics for workshops and virtual meetings, including managing invites and RSVPs
• Record meeting minutes, track action items, and follow up with stakeholders
• Support senior staff with research, data entry, and digital filing organization

Requirements

• Undergraduate or postgraduate student/graduate in a relevant field
• Ability to write concisely and effectively
• Proficiency with Google Workspace
• Familiarity with communication tools such as Slack, Teams, or Zoom
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
