Intern, AI and Digital Innovation

Responsibilities

• Support coordination of AI Discovery Lab and Study Group
• Maintain an inventory of ongoing and proposed AI initiatives
• Research and experiment with chatbots, generative AI tools, and AI-assisted workflows
• Test and evaluate AI tools for usefulness, risks, and accessibility
• Help design and coordinate staff training on AI tools and responsible use
• Develop guidance materials, job aids, or FAQs for staff

Requirements

• Current undergraduate student in computer science, information systems, or related field
• Demonstrated interest in AI and emerging technologies
• Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) and chatbots
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and Windows 11

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI tools or automation workflows
• Experience in project coordination or documentation
• Exposure to training or facilitation
• Understanding of ethical or inclusive technology practices
• Experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization
