Intern Accountant

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accounting records, ledgers, and documentation
• Help with bank reconciliations and data entry
• Prepare basic financial reports and maintain organized financial files in line with UAE compliance requirements
• Support senior accountants in audit, tax, and reporting tasks
• Maintain and organize accounting documents and assist audit and tax teams with documentation

Requirements

• Recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping
• Proficiency in MS Excel (data entry, basic formulas)
• Valid UAE work visa required (visa sponsorship is not provided)
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a professional attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT
• Willingness to learn accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho Books
