Intermediate Technician, Information Modelling

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality MEPF drawing documentation and BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Produce BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and PH services, ensuring efficient drawing strategies and numbering.
• Prepare plant room layouts, sections, details, and coordinated services drawings.
• Develop general arrangement drawings from engineering sketches and coordinate building details.
• Coordinate engineering services on projects in close collaboration with BIM Coordinators, Engineers, and BIM Managers.
• Ensure all work adheres to WSP CAD standards, QA processes, document control, and CDM guidelines.
• Manage team tasks and share knowledge and best practices with teammates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 4-8 years of professional experience in information modelling or technical drafting.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP for 3D modelling and 2D documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing design drawings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of BIM protocols, processes, and company standards.
• Ability to undertake key technical tasks independently across small to medium profile projects.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for interacting with peers, managers, and clients.
