Intermediate Technician Electronics

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation to ensure operational compliance and minimize production impact
• Execute preventive maintenance and respond quickly to equipment failures to support production continuity
• Ensure equipment compliance with calibration schedules, manufacturer recommendations, and required standards
• Maintain accurate documentation and traceability for all calibration, maintenance, and repair activities
• Install technical devices, including ESD protection and workstation grounding
• Read and interpret technical plans, diagrams, manuals, and specifications to diagnose malfunctions
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure the reliability of critical equipment
• Assist in the installation, integration, and commissioning of new equipment

Requirements

• DEC or equivalent in mechanical, electromechanical, electrotechnical, electronic engineering, or a related field
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in instrumentation or electronics
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans, diagrams, and specifications
• Fluency in French (spoken and written)
• Eligibility for security clearance (Reliability Status) and ability to pass security assessments for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of English is considered an asset for interacting with clients outside of Quebec
