Intermediate Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Form a key part of the mechanical engineering team within the Engineering Services team
• Draft briefs for new build and refurbishment projects and contribute to all stages of the project lifecycle, including site inspections and commissioning
• Update and maintain Mechanical Services infrastructure information
• Support the facilities management team with complex maintenance tasks
• Deliver engineering projects with a focus on asset replacement and energy efficiency

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (recognised in Australia)
• Current membership of a recognised engineering institution
• On a pathway to achieving RPEQ status
• Minimum of 4 years post-graduate work experience in an Australian building services engineering consultancy
• Experience working on University, laboratory, or hospital facilities
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with complex facilities such as PC2/PC3 research laboratories, data centres, or healthcare clinics
• Ability to engage effectively with a wide variety of clients and stakeholders
