Intermediate Frontend Developer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the web Angular technology stack to build creative and efficient solutions for the banking sector
• Work closely with product and design teams to translate end-user requirements into pragmatic technical solutions
• Shape and implement technology and business solutions to drive competitive differentiation for clients
• Collaborate with team members to implement user stories, write tests, and continuously deliver improved product functionality
• Communicate with internal IT teams to resolve technical dependencies during implementation
• Support improvements to DevOps tooling and software development processes

Requirements

• 2-4 years of total software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field
• Proficiency with Angular 10+ and modern frontend JavaScript frameworks
• Excellent knowledge of Raw JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Experience with engineering practices including TDD, code refactoring, and design patterns

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Node JS and ECMAScript 2015+
• Experience with Gulp build tools, Karma, and Jasmine unit testing
• Familiarity with UML and SVG
• Experience building highly scalable applications and implementing application security
