Intermediate Enterprise and Systems Architect/Modeler

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise and system diagrams and models for complex defence systems using SysML or equivalent methodologies.
• Create architectural representations covering critical systems, requirements, interfaces, mission scenarios, and use cases.
• Manage requirements traceability and assess the impacts of changes within the Digital Engineering Modeling and Simulation (DEM&S) ecosystem.
• Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques to conduct verification and validation of requirements and system interfaces.
• Collaborate with the Department of National Defence (DND) and multidisciplinary teams to ensure architectural coherence and tool integration.
• Maintain a 100% commitment to zero-harm safety behaviors and a world-class safety culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science, or a Technologist diploma.
• Familiarity with systems engineering and MBSE techniques.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or naval systems.
• Canadian citizenship and continuous Canadian residence for at least the past 10 years (required for Government of Canada security clearance).
