About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop commercial-grade software and security solutions across mobile and desktop platforms
- Work on cutting-edge application systems security to help mitigate cybersecurity threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architectural discussions and design decisions
- Apply a scientific and empirical approach to analysis, development, and rapid prototyping
- Utilize modern frameworks and AI-enabled engineering tools to build robust applications
- Embrace an iterative development process, including debugging, testing, and experimentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Mandatory experience with mobile application development (Android and/or iOS)
- Proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented language such as Java, Objective-C, C++, or Swift
- Strong understanding of core computer science principles, including OOP and algorithms
- Experience working in Agile environments with rapidly evolving priorities
- A generalist mindset with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in emerging AI technologies or cryptography
- Experience with rapid prototyping and a "hackathon" mindset
- Familiarity with hardware tinkering or home automation projects
